The Farleigh Hospice fundraising office has a small team of staff and volunteers who are happy to offer you practical help with your fundraising.  We are extremely grateful to anyone who raises funds to help us.

Your event can be large or small, from a private tea party or dinner party to a golf day or dinner dance or even a sponsored event such as a parachute jump or white water rafting.  Always ask us if you want to organise something unusual such as a parachute jump, abseil etc. as we do have contacts with companies that run these type of action events.

If you decide to hold a fundraising event please click here to download the Fundraising Guidelines and an Event Form.  Alternatively you can contact the Fundraising Department on 01245 457408 or click here to email and we will send you this information.  The event form needs to be filled in where applicable and returned to us so that we have a record of what you intend to do.

Once we have received the completed event form we can produce posters, fliers and, if required, tickets for your event.  We will  get you information leaflets about the hospice, and copies of our latest newsletter to display at your event.  If the event is being held in a large venue, such as a golf club, or hotel, we can loan you one of our banners or display boards.

We will also include details of your event in our newsletter and on our website. 

After the event we are happy to help you organise a cheque presentation if you feel this will give provide added publicity.

If you have any queries about your event that are not covered in the fundraising guidelines we will be happy to discuss these with you.
We are also happy to offer advice on publicising your event with the newspapers and radio, both before and afterwards.

If your event is high profile and you would like someone from Farleigh Hospice to attend do please give us as much notice as you can.  If possible we try to arrange for one of our Trustees, who are volunteers themselves, to come but it is not always possible for us to send a representative due to prior commitments.
