Run the Asics British 10K London Run for Farleigh Hospice!
The 12th anniversary British 10k London Run is scheduled to take place on Sunday 8th July, just 19 days before the opening ceremony of the London Olympic Games! The Olympic Relay Torch will arrive in London on July 24th just 16 days after the The British 10k London Run and much of the race route will be used for both men's and women's Olympic marathons
A fantastic road race around the heart of London, the race route is undoubtedly the most historic and sporting 10K route in the UK. It takes in the centre of London, passing many world famous and iconic sights; Wellington Arch at Hyde Park Corner, St. James's Palace, Trafalgar Square, the magnificent St. Paul's Cathedral, the unique London Eye, Big Ben, the world's most famous clock, the British Houses of Parliament and historic Westminster Abbey before finishing on Whitehall, just past the entrance of 10 Downing Street.
Registration for this event is just £25 and typical sponsorship pledged by previous participants in the London 10K is £250, so we ask that you would aim to raise this amount. The Farleigh Hospice Events Team will of course be cheering you on at the event, and will support you throughout your training and fundraising.
