Every year Farleigh Hospice produces its own calendar which is available to supporters and members of the general public to purchase at a cost of £3 each. The income generated by these popular calendars plays an important part in helping to fund the free care and support Farleigh Hospice provides to local people affected by life limiting illnesses.

It’s been exactly a year since David Laybourn from Stock, Nr Chelmsford, first became a member of Farleigh Hospice’s board of trustees. During the past 12 months, as well as being a trustee, behind the scenes David has also been busy helping to raise money for Farleigh Hospice through his recreational activities.

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, patients at our Chelmsford and Maldon day hospices were treated to a festive frenzy of Christmas cake making and decorating, sumptuous Christmas dinners and musical entertainment, getting everyone in the festive spirit.
