


What services does the HOP provide?
The HOP is an innovative service for anyone affected by a life limiting illness, either as a patient or as a friend, family member or carer. There are specialist staff on board the HOP that provide information, support or advice.
Also by working in conjunction with Farleigh Hospice's Bereavement Team, we are now holding counselling sessions on board the HOP at certain locations.
How much does it cost to staff and run the HOP each day?
It costs £439 to staff & run the HOP per day.
Where does the HOP visit?
The HOP visits 16 locations across mid Essex. The locations the HOP visits are:
Maldon- Promenade Park, Maldon- Tesco's, Heybridge- Plantation Hall, Burnham- Foundry Lane, South Woodham Ferrers- Asda, Kelvedon-Labour Club, Coggeshall- Doctors Surgery, Hatfield Peveral- Duke of Wellington, Witham- Grove Shopping Centre, Witham- Morrisons, Braintree- Freeport, Braintree-Sainsbury's, Braintree- St Michaels Hospital, Rayne- Village Hall, Great Dunmow- Tesco's and Finchingfield- Freshwells Health Centre.
