Nurse Led Clinics

Outpatient clinics are available at our three sites: Braintree, Chelmsford and Maldon, .  We offer a range of services that patients can take advantage of by booking an appointment for specific treatments. 

We offer Nurse led clinics that provide intravenous treatment for bone pain (bisphosphonates), blood transfusions, blood tests as well as general advice and support.  An out patient appointment at the hospice feels very differnt to an appointment at a hospital.  We have more time to care you for as a person and the environment is warm and welcoming, making you feel at home.

The clinics are run by experienced Nurses. They are skilled at putting up intravenous drips, taking blood and wound care.  They can also give advice and support regarding symptom control and can assess new patients in order to refer them on to appropriate members of the Farleigh Hospice team.
