Emma has lived in Essex for over 23 years and is married.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends and likes art and to travel.
Emma is a Commercial Property Solicitor for Birkett Long LLP, the largest Law firm in Essex. Emma studied LLB Law (Hons) at University of Hertfordshire and completed her Legal Practice Course at College of Law London.
Her areas of expertise include both commercial and residential property work. Her commercial property experience includes Landlord and Tenant work, freehold and leasehold acquisitions, disposals, development work, deeds of easements, wayleave agreements and security work. Her residential property experience consists of; freehold and leasehold acquisitions and dispositions, registered and unregistered titles, leasehold enfranchisement and acting for major banks in securing charges. She developed her legal skills in British Sugar’s in house legal department, part of Associated British Foods, and One Housing Group (OHG).
Emma Chairs Birkett Long's Social Committee which organises events for staff throughout the year.
