11 March 2010	Assistant Shop Manager Ref 1007JC We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person to support the Shop Manager in our shop at 37 Moulsham Street, Chelmsford. There is a dual site shop management structure with one manager covering this shop and the nearby shop at 202 Moulsham Street, with each shop having an Assistant Manager to support the manager. You will take responsibility for the day to day operation of the shop in the absence of the manager, ensuring the maximisation of shop profits for the benefit of Farleigh Hospice, supporting the manager at other times. Ideally you will have experience of working in retail, but it is essential that you have an interest in working in this environment and would like to join a dedicated team working towards sustaining and improving the excellent services provided by Farleigh Hospice. You will need to be available to work four days per week (including some Saturdays) and also cover for the Manager at other times The shop is currently leased on a rolling agreement hence this position is for a rolling contract of six months.
